Friendly skincare preparation before putting on your makeup to keep your makeup fresh all day

Taking care of your skin allows you to apply beautiful makeup. We frequently forget that in order to achieve the "perfect look," you must also properly prepare your face for makeup. Flawless skin, defined cheekbones, bright eyes, and hydrated lips are all examples of this.

Take these necessary tips before you will grab your makeup bag, so you will not end up with dry patches, dullness, or uneven coverage.

1. Clean your skin

It's critical to prep your skin with skincare before applying makeup. Make sure it is clean and dry. Gently rub your favorite cleanser into your skin in circular motions to remove impurities, dirt, and oil. Without it, your makeup will never lay properly. You won't be able to achieve an even, flawless finish if your skin isn't properly prepped. Instead, your foundation will appear heavy and will gravitate toward the dry areas of your skin, while your concealer will become cakey.

2. Exfoliate your skin

Consider the last time you exfoliated your body: how well did your skin feel afterward? Your face, like the rest of your body's skin, needs to be exfoliated to remove any dead skin cells that may be clogging your pores. Do you have dry skin? Exfoliating can also help with dry patches, which can cause an uneven complexion or blotchiness.

How To Choose The Right Exfoliator?

Look for a gentle daily exfoliator scrub with tiny, circular granules. Rough and irregular ingredients can irritate your skin and cause it to become overly dry. Rinse your face thoroughly with lukewarm water to prevent makeup from thickening when applied. REMEMBER TO EXFOLIATE YOUR NECK!

After cleansing, we recommend exfoliating your face. After rinsing your face, use your fingertips to gently massage the exfoliator formula of your choice into your skin in circular motions. Then, with lukewarm water, rinse your face.

3. Apply toner

Toner is an often-overlooked step in our daily skin care routine, but it's officially time to incorporate it into your product line. Toner soothes and protects the skin while preparing it for the most important step in your routine: moisturizing.

4. Moisturize your skin

This will keep your skin from becoming too oily during the day and will help moisturize any dry patches. If you know you have oily skin, don't skip moisturizer altogether; instead, try a gel-based formula that absorbs quickly. Wait five minutes before putting on the next skincare product.

5. Apply primer

Cleansing, exfoliating, toning, and moisturizing are all important steps in your skincare routine, but applying primer may be the most important step when it comes to all-day makeup. Primer creates a smooth, even canvas on your skin and helps your foundation, blush, bronzer, and other face products last longer.

When it comes to primer, there is no such thing as a one-size-fits-all formula for every skin type. If you want your makeup to last from morning to night, you must find and use a primer designed specifically for your skin type and concerns.

6. Apply primer

Your face preparation isn't finished yet—don't forget to show some love to your pout as well. Dry lips can cause your lipstick to look flaky or uneven, especially if you use a classic matte or liquid lipstick formula. Apply our Lip Primer to your lips before applying your chosen shade. This colorless, lightweight primer hydrates, smoothes, and preps lips, laying the foundation for any lip look

If you follow our instructions and properly prepare your face, you won't need to reach into your makeup bag every few hours to keep your makeup in good condition.

Congrats! You're now ready to begin working on your all-day makeup look.
